Andy’s Diner Bar

The real test of any diner are their burgers. So we decided to try them at Andy’s Diner Bar today. And they are better than I would expect them to be. A frozen patty, a not so tasty bun, and some dull fries. But pretty good home made coleslaw and the overall taste of the burger is quite ok.

Now the most interesting part: if you tell them you are working somewhere in the neighborhood (means Potsdamer Platz), you will get a 20% discount. And that means 6.30 € for a pretty nice hamburger. Wow, that’s cheap for this area here!

Prices @ Andy’s Diner Bar: Burgers 8-10 €, Steaks 14-18 € (but think about the discount ;))

Luther & Wegner

Today’s business lunch at Luther & Wegner near Potsdamer Platz in Berlin:

1. A rocket salad with chicken breast and cherry tomatoes

2. Breaded cod fillet accompanied by field salad and potato salad.

Additionally a glass of the Luther & Wegner Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris).

Taste: the first course was good, chicken soft and juicy, fresh rocket and tomatoes. The fish wasn’t spectacular, though. It was rather dry and cold. Definitely, the business lunch at this place is much better most of the time.

Price: moderate 13 Euro, which is ok for that area.
